Pool Day!

After weeks of complaining about the weather, we finally had the time (and the floaty) to go to the pool with Taylor! Luckily, she LOVES the water.

Look at how excited she is!

After swimming around for a bit, we decided to have lunch by the pool. Taylor was enjoying some avocado and a pouch of meat.

As always, I tricked her into eating the meat product by putting it onto the avocado.

Taylor is a super slow eater and will cheek the food if it's too hard to swallow, but she's still a cutie!

While she's in the water, besides smiling a lot, she spends part of the time licking the floaty.
Surprisingly, she kept her hat on while in the pool since normally she rips it immediately off her head!

David has been loving the different camera settings. This is the setting that makes our skin look orange.

Look at how happy she is!

Taylor's thoughts: "I'm getting splashed in the face, but I love it! And please ignore my double chin."

After a playing by the pool, we went home and took a long nap before heading out for an early dinner. We have been going to places on this top 40 Hong Kong eats and tried out a "beef brisket" place. It was definitely a local place as it was cheap, only had stools, and you shared tables with others. It was delicious and very inexpensive, but a bit hard to eat because one of us had to be holding Taylor. Afterwards, we walked to Soho and stopped by this dessert place that our friend, Sam, had told me about.

Chocolate pavlova with Strawberries and a Champagne Gelee. The pavlova was good, but I think I prefer regular pavlova better.

Sticky toffee pudding with banana ice cream. I had never had this dessert before, but it was definitely yummy!
