On Friday night, we went to Sam's parents house for dinner, but unfortunately, our hypersensitive baby seemed to have an allergic reaction to the cat. Being a bit sick, overtired and now rashy, we ended up having to leave shortly after dinner started. That Saturday, we decided to take it easy to let Taylor rest up before we went to explore other parts of Hong Kong.
On Sunday, we decided to go to Lamma Island, which is one of the big islands near Hong Kong. We took a 30 minute ferry ride and arrived at the island. We weren't sure what to expect and didn't plan very well. It's known for it's seafood, but we already had lunch before we went to the island. It was very hot that weekend due to the Typhoon near Taiwan, so carrying Taylor was a bit worse than normal.
On Monday, we moved from our hotel room to our new apartment. Actually, Taylor and I moved our stuff while Dave went to work. Luckily, since the apartment is actually in the same building as the W, they helped us move all of our stuff from one place to the other. We haven't taken any photos of the actual apartment, but here's the website: http://www.harbourviewplace.com/ It's this awesome serviced apartment so we don't have to worry about cleaning. The downside is that our budget could only get us a 1 bedroom, but we selected a nicer place that was more comfortable for us. The square footage of this 1 bedroom is almost the same as the square footage of the 2 bedroom that they would have put us up in.
I'll try to take some photos of our apartment after they clean it.
One of the things that Taylor loves is the view.
Taylor, is that safe to play behind?
No matter what she still likes to hid behind the curtains!
