On Sunday, we made plans to have Din Tai Fung with Cat and Jimmy. Luckily, we had brought an umbrella because when we emerged from the MTR in Causeway Bay, it was actually pouring rain! The restaurant wasn't too far away from the MTR stop and the only thing that got really wet were Taylor's feet! It was one of the few times that I wish we had considered getting the rain cover for the stroller. After an always delicious meal at Din Tai Fung, we went over to their apartment to check it out and hang out. Their place was awesome AND relatively child friendly. =)
There was a fun exercise ball that Taylor liked to be bounced on. I didn't have any good photos of her on the ball cause she kept moving so much!
They also had a balcony so Taylor could look outside.
I think she's wishing we would let her go outside!
But the best part was the closet of shoes! Taylor was very excited about this room, but I don't think Cat would have enjoyed Taylor trying to eat her shoes.
We spent all afternoon hanging out with them. We were planning on going out to try famous Char Siu, which is kind of like a bbq pork, but they actually had some in their fridge. So we didn't even have to go out to get another snack. We ended up having an early dinner with them before heading back to Kowloon. Thanks Cat and Jimmy for letting us spend Sunday with you! It was lots of fun.
One day during the week, Taylor was wearing a pair of pants that has buttons on the bottom of the leg. Of course, I caught her trying to chew/eat the buttons on her pants! She's so silly and needs to be constantly monitored!
