Bali - Part 1

We left Singapore on Monday morning and headed to Bali for the week. We had arrived in the late afternoon on Monday and quickly changed to go to the pool before the sun set. We had dinner at one of the resorts cafes and relaxed from the day of traveling.

On Tuesday, we went into the small town outside of Nusa Dua. It was very touristy and we bought a couple of things before coming back to the resort for lunch. We actually ate at one of the restaurants in the Westin as it was next door to our resort. Taylor had conveniently taken a nap so that we could eat in peace.

 Enjoying the beachside view

 Loving the outdoor restaurant!

 Our view from our table.

We weren't that hungry because we had done the breakfast buffet, so we shared a meal that was a little bit of all local foods. Overall, it was pretty good, but I don't think I love most of the spices in Indonesian cooking.

At one point, Taylor woke up to join us for lunch!

One of our few family photos was during dessert. But we had to pin down Taylor's arms as we had gotten ice cream. Otherwise, Taylor's quick hands would have gotten into that ice cream!

After lunch, we played in the pool. Luckily, Taylor loves going into the pool and being in her floaty.

Beached on the ledge!

We had also rented a cabana for the afternoon. It was actually a very reasonable deal and it was perfect way to relax with a crawling Taylor.

The lounging space it provided was also a great place for Taylor to crawl around and play. At this point, I had went out to the town to get a massage.

Taylor had caught a cold in Singapore so her nose was a bit runny during the trip. Luckily, she wasn't in a bad mood and still had lots of fun!
